I think I am one of the very few people left on the planet

which results in little pieces of paper everywhere with random numbers, thoughts, and appointments.

At the Craft Fair...

Hey there!

Happy Sunday!

So I did my first Craft Fair yesterday...I didn't know what to expect really

but I would say I did OK

and it was a really good learning experience

and I also had a lot of fun doing it!

I'll have close ups of a lot of these projects later this week.

I need to replenish some crafting supplies!

I've been really good,

and haven't bought anything for about 4 months

It's funny how you run out of everything at once.

Spending today relaxing and organizing the pit that my craft area has become,

hopefully finishing Christmas Shopping

and maybe working on getting an ETSY store going.

You were born to fly...

I first started working with canvases about 5 or 6 years ago

I used to scrapbook on them,

which later evolved to sort of photo collages and even some home decor

I mostly hated what I made

I look at them even now with such a critical eye, and then I think

everything I have ever made, love it or hate it

is all just part of who I am and who I want to be

I believe that's true for all of us in most things that we do

why do we struggle so much with ourselves?

why is it so hard to just let go?

I found a bunch of these canvas boards recently while going through some old boxes

I had even already primed them before stuffing them away

anyway, I've played with them a little the past couple weeks

and I really like the way this one turned out

it's one of the few times what I saw in my head actually happened "out loud"

We spent the holiday week in Ohio visiting my family and

had such a nice time!

Here's a picture in front of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

I think I caught a tear or two in Britain's eyes when he saw the

I love that music means so much to him...more on that later

It's Day 3 of my 500 post celebration...

I can't remember the last time I posted 3 days in a row!

Anyway..here's a couple pictures of some more craft fair stuff I've been working on

I made these gift wrap kits with baker's twine, raffia, stamped shipping wrap, and handmade tags

I love that more rustic look for wrapping gifts

I used stamps from Unity, CTMH, and Autumn Leaves

I'm going to do some with white butcher paper too

All this craftiness has got me thinking about opening an ETSY Store
