Annapolis..and More Cherries

Supplies Used:

Everything on this card in included in the

"With a Cherry On Top Kit"

except for the White card Base

Tuesday is our DT HOP!!

Make sure to come back and

see all the wonderful work from our fabulous DT!!!
and I'm sure I'll be giving something away...
You know how I love to do that!!

Yesterday the weather was perfect,
and even though the pollen is so high none of us can hardly breathe
we decided to drive out to Annapolis...
LOL
Can you tell the sun was in their eyes?

I even made the teen turn off his phone for a few hours...

It's so nice when someone offers to take a family picture...we have so many pics of just two or three of us...but not that many of the four of us

The grounds at the US Naval Academy and all around Annapolis are beautiful,
it really does look like the movies that have been filmed there.
There's this really cool vibe , a lot of people live right there in all of these historical buildings which would be so fun I think and they're sitting out on their front porches drinking coffee and people watching.

People just out and about walking their dogs.

And interspersed you see all the dress whites of the US Naval Academy MidShipmen out for the day on base lib. Which gave it this whole "Officer and a Gentlemen" feel...and yes I know it wasn't filmed there. LOL

this was a subject of much discussion during the day..

and I'm happy to say

"I WAS RIGHT!!"

It's also known as a pet friendly city, so the resturaunts have dog bowls on the outside tables in case you brought your furry friends..

LOVED THAT!!

On a recommendation from Christi

I 've been reading this book

The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl

Which is soooo much more than just another cookbook.
I'm fascinated by this woman and her country life, her "Marlboro Man"
and her very cute kids. She's had a blog for several years, which has turned into a bit of an enterprise.
You can be nosy like me here.

and
That's it for today!
Thanks so much for stopping by to see me!
Don't forget there's a bunch of stuff for sale over there on the right!!
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Love your Annapolis photos! When we were stationed at McGuire, we would take a daytrip to Annapolis about every 3-4 months. LOVED going to the sailboat boat show in the pouring rain on VIP day. One of the very best day trips we have taken as a family with fantastic family memories of that place!!!

Love this card. Playing with my kit is HIGH on my to-do list today. This card is just gorgeous!!! smiles...

BTW, isn't that book fun? I am glad that you are enjoying it!

Cute card Amy! I love that you shared pics of your family - sounds like a great time!

While I wasn't the one who recommended the PW Cookbook - I have it and LOVE it! I haven't tried any of the recipes, but I have read it from cover to cover and highly recommend it too :)
