EAD Project and Sunday Share...

Good Sunday Morning to you!
I have a project and a bunch of pictures to share with you today...
It seems that when I started this blog, it was really more about my family with some craftiness mixed in, but then the craftiness completely took over and I found I was really only ever posting projects. I've been trying the past few weeks to get back to what matters most to me, (time with my family) and sharing that as well. It's sort of turned out that this usually happens on Sunday morning, when I'm up before everyone with my I-touch plugged into my ears and having my coffee, and I have to say it really is helping me to remember what's important and keeps me more focused. After posting, I usually move over to the other side of the table for some stamping...:-)...
Anyway, first things first...
I have a friend here who recently lost her mother,
I wanted to do something for her, so I made her this little prayer candle.
I simply took a blank one and then I applied some
I am really hoping I can find some more of these candles locally (I got this one in Ohio) because I really had no idea it was going to turn out this well.

Then I used one of my WhimsyHaven stamps
to make a very simple little card to match.
Yesterday, it was my birthday...thanks so much to all of you who left me birthday wishes..so so sweet of you...and for those of you who are curious about my age...
I am now the year that comes after 35
enough about that..
I have come to decide that Annapolis is probably one of my all time favorite cities...
I know you heard about it last week, but we went back yesterday because I just had to check out the West Annapolis Shopping District...and check out this store
What a fun little shop! It's been in business for over 30 years and there are so many fun things to see and play with in there!
Of course, what's a birthday withouth CAKE!!!
We went to this little German Resturaunt called Regina's
which has amazing food and even more amazing BLACK FOREST CAKE!!!

And while I was busy putting my camera away after taking this picture...
THIS HAPPENED...

And I had to order another piece....

My sweet boys who hung out quite patiently
while I had to look around in EVERY STORE...

and I'm trying to learn how to use my camera better...
and wow...isn't this tree just beautiful!!!

And I totally had to share my favorite find of the day from a little consignment shop next to ART THINGS, called Consign and Design
(and yes I know it doesn't go with this outfit)
A PINK LEATHER BLAZER for $15 that still has the tags on it...
NEVER EVER EVER EVER been worn....$15!!!!
HOLY CRAP!!!
How could I say no to pink leather on my birthday...?
I couldn't...I didn't
If you've made it this far...You must really be bored by now!
LOL..
thanks so much for hanging in there
and have a wonderful SUNDAY!!!

Happy belated birthday Amy! Looks like you had a great one spent with your family. While I'm sorry for the reason, I absolutely love the candle you made for your friend and that card should be in a magazine!
