I love the ETSY Challenge blog run by Ashley,
but I almost never have time to play with her
and the rest of her super cool ETSY CHICKIES.
I did this week though!
Supplies Used:
Notebook 7Gypsies
vintage library image copied from an old falling apart magazine I got from a thrift store
I colored it in with my watercolor pencils
This weeks ETSY Store is Amethyst Soaps
I took my inspiration for this project from the photo here.
The story behind this project...
If you ever come by here more than once you probably know
I LURVE Books
I love reading, and I even started a book blog, but unfortunately my life got a little too busy to keep up with it. Anyway, I probably read a couple hundred books a year, (I think, I've never counted) So I decided this year to keep track. I'm writing down the title and author of each book I read this year in this little notebook. For one, because I just wanna know, and two because it's getting to the point that as publisher's put out reprints I've caught myself several times purchasing books I've already read once. and um...3...I thought it would be fun!
I'm on number 12, I started Jan 1st.
And while I'm at it, let me just say I've recently discovered a new author that I really Like.
(click above for her amazon page)
has a few different series going on.
So far I've read Burning Alive Book 1 in the Sentinel Series (Paranormal) and
No Regrets Book 1 in the Delta Force series (think Susan Brockman but much spicier)
I'm on the waiting list at the library for the rest!!
I love the library! You can read all about my library smelling addiction

That is such an excellent idea! I'm not sure how many books I've read so far this year. I should check...it's not as many as I would like, but I've definitely read a few already. We still need to get together for coffee or something one of these days.
Love this so cute!!!!
Amazing! So glad you had time to play this week! I love the vintage image, so clever!
Thanks for playing EtsyInspired this week!
I love it! I'm curious how are you doing the inside of the book? Are you just listing the books or something else?
I love this idea, Amy! I NEED to do this as right now, I am reading about 6 books/week. *eek* and I am right there with you with buying duplicate books...I do it way too often. This is so beautiful! I am totally copying you on this!! smiles...
