My winner of the Sentiment stamp from yesterday is Tonya!!! Tonya, please email me your address! Thanks for all the new blogs to go check out!

I'm a little behind today...but I'm getting there...It's all over once I pick up a book...and I never should have with all the stuff I need to do, BUT I did...last night and buried myself in it for most of the day...

This was a really great story...it's part of a series Book 12 of the Dark-Hunter series...but it stands on it's own, I know I've read a few of the series here and there over the past few years...this is by far her best book.

So speaking of books...is anyone as excited as I am for the Twilight movie in 11 days?? The song you are currently listenting to is from the soundtrack...So your challenge for today is..

I want to know a favorite quote of yours from a book...leave it for me in a comment by tomorrow at 8pm to win the Unity flower newsprint stamp on this card

I finally got started on my Christmas cards...hopefullly I'll get them finished tomorrow... and maybe a few more Christmas presents...

I am so so so jealous, the movie hits NZ on Dec 26, but the cool thing is I have convinced my husband to go see it on opening day.One of my fav quotes comes from "The Little Prince" and the quote is “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

"I would like travelers, especially American travelers, to travel in a way that broadens their perspective, because I think Americans tend to be some of the most ethnocentric people on the planet. It's not just Americans, it's the big countries. It's the biggest countries that tend to be ethnocentric or ugly. There are ugly Russians, ugly Germans, ugly Japanese and ugly Americans. You don't find ugly Belgians or ugly Bulgarians, they're just too small to think the world is their norm."

-Rick Steves, but I don't know which book it's from. Still my fav quote though:).

"I already knew there was something wrong with your brain." Twilight. I started using that line whenever my husbands forgets something I told him.

I read 3 of the Twilight books so I know what's happening when I go to the movie! My favorite quote is Scarlett in Gone with the Wind..."Tomorrow is another day" and then Rhett in the same book "Frankly, Scarlett, I don't give a da..." I read the book twice when I was in high school.

I'd have to steal back my book for a favorite quote from Twilight, but we (daughter and I) are planning to go to a midnight showing!

I have to paraphrase, but this made me laugh out loud when I read it the first time. From "Because She Can"...'What did you say? Listen, I am not a b*tch, I am THE b*tch'

I am a huge Harry Potter fan. One of my favorite quotes is from the Chamber of Secrets. It says:

Never trust anything that can think for itself if you can't see where it keeps its brain.

OH Amy I LOVE your new blog design! It's so FUN! How exciting. I have been a bad blog visitor lately -- I'm sorry I haven't been by in a while!

I know I'm too late for your drawing, but my all time favorite novel is "The Count of Monte Cristo" and I have several favorite quotes from it. One that is short and I love is "All human wisdom is summed up in two words; wait and hope."

Oh -- and YES I am getting very excited for the "Twilight" movie next week!! My husband bought me a "Team Edward" t-shirt as a joke for my birthday! LOL -- I ended up exchanging it for a shirt that has the Cullen family crest on it. I will wear it on opening night and try to blend in with the teenagers in the crowd! LOL
