I feel like I never tell stories anymore...

I hadn't scrapbooked in so long,

and once I got started I cranked out quite a few pages

Not having power, or water for several days gave me

a chance to actually sit down and spend some time going through the huge amount of pictures that have piled up -- I realized how much I missed it..

Somewhere along the way this blog lots it's personal touch

That mostly has to do I think, with just being busy

Anyway..here is a page of my guys and on the left

One of Britain's best friends from Illinois who came to visit us

our first summer here in 2009

The pic was taken at the National Harbor Center

I love that technology has allowed Britain to stay in touch with all of his old friends

and that they've been able to visit back and forth (Britain went there in July)

It's funny because between the Scrabble Marathons, and fumbling around in the dark

the boys enjoyed looking at the pictures too

SO, while having a hurricane roll through here completely SUCKED

It could have been much worse, and I do have appreciation for the time we

got to spend together "unplugged".

There's a bunch of old paper on this page mostly K&Co.

a Unity Stamp (that jounaling block in a favorite standby of mine)

a PTI stamp and an EAD Designs Vinyl Funky Tree Rub On

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Fabulous page, Amy. I am so far behind on my scrapping that I don't even know where to begin!!! Maybe now that boys are back in school I can add that to my list of things I MUST get done. Hope you all are safe and sound and didn't suffer any damage in the hurricane.
