On the "bad girl" list...

I have been such a bad blogger.....I have just had a time getting rid of this crap and it's still lingering....and it's left me so...well ...depleted...I guess is the best word for it... I start to feel better, go about doing regular "stuff" then need to take a nap because I'm exhausted...but enough of that....I try to keep this a happy place...:-)

I actually got a little creating going today and it make me feel good...it feels like it's been forever since I made anything...
I did these cards for a class I'm going to teach in May.. I wanted them to be nice, but also kind of simple so they would work for the class...

These are made with Heidi Grace patterned paper, Worldwinn Cardstock, and Hero Arts stamps...

A 2 page layout...haven't actually done a layout in forever I've been so busy with swaps and class stuff..

I used Bazzill Cardstock, Pattern Paper by CTMH, and Dreamstreet and Lace Cardstock by KI Memories...Title is "Starstruck"

and I got my cards done for the Deck of Me challenge..so I am all caught up!

week 13 was "what makes you laugh everyday?"

week 14 is "is your glass half empty or half full?"

This weekend is CKC St Louis, and I've really been looking forward to it. I'll be helping out at the SBF's booth, but I also have an entire day of cropping on Saturday with friends which I booked back in January. So, needless to say, things have been pretty busy at the store..but I LOVE IT...it's like Christmas everyday...all these boxes of wonderful things coming in to play with...unfortunately with the loss of my primary income though, it's also torture because I can't afford to buy it all...LOL...but I've got some prospects out there so keep your fingers crossed for me and we'll see.

The "girls" at the SBF have all been so nice and wonderful to me, and I'm enjoying working with them so much, you can really tell everyone there really loves this hobby and wants to be there...it's pretty refreshing....and I'll be there tomorrow working and helping to load up for the show...so if I can I'll get some pics posted tomorrow.

Anyway, thanks everyone so much for the well wishes and for checking in on me....fingers crossed, I'll be here tomorrow with a new Ricetta...

Gratitudes:

1. I think I actually saw the sun for a minute or two today

2. Our grass is starting to grow

3. Britain has taken this interest in plants lately, I'll have to show some pics of his mini greenhouse

4. Landon snuggles

5. sleep

Oh Amy, I'm so sorry you have also been so sick. I'm glad to hear that it sounds like you are feeling a bit better!! I love the layouts - you are so talented. Take care of yourself - I'll see you soon - Kellan

I forget you have music until I realise the only window I have open is your blog. I indulged in some Norah Jones just before courtesy of your blog. So I had to go get her cd and now I am playing that in my study. Anyway I digress. Glad to hear you are feeling better, take it easy this weekend.

Glad to hear you are feeling better but just remember to take care of yourself and not push too hard.

Glad to hear you're back in the land of the living!! Hang in there, sometimes it takes awhile to get your strength back. I SOOO wish I was going to CKC in St Louis. I was very close to signing up for it.

I hope you are feeling better. I love the new stuff you made today!

I also love your deck of me cards. You have a wonderful perspective.

Hi Amy! I was wondering about you, too! I, also, haven't been blogging as much lately. As much as I love it, I'm starting to feel the guilt about all the time it takes away from my youngest. This is her last year home with me before she goes to school and I feel bad when she wants to play Candyland and I'm always saying, "Just a minute."

With the sun coming out here (YES!) and we just switched to daylight savings time, I have little to no time to do anything indoorsy...blogging is no exception:). And being sick on top of it all - yeah, I get it.

You do have a great perspective and I am SO far behind on my deck of me cards. I am halfway finished with my ATCs though! Today is a less than sunny day and I intend to stay in and get some more done (after I clean the house).

She is still alive! I was beginning to worry about you.

Lucky you! I would love to go to a CKU--you will have so much fun. I bet it is hard seeing all the great stuff but can't buy..wait, I know it is hard. Oh, well, I have too much stay as it is. It will keep me busy for awhile.

The cards look great. I need to get caught up on my deck cards. I am sooooooooooo far behind but now that I have a little time on my hands, I hope to do so. And I need to get started on my ATCs this week.

Amy, I leave you for a week and you fall apart on me...it sounds like it has been an awful week for you, but I am so glad that you are starting to feel better...AND already creating some more gorgeous things!?! Wow, girl! You are the energizer bunny when it comes to creativity.

I am so sorry about the nursing job, but I have a very good feeling that it definitely happened for a reason.

Did you ever get Rita's email? If not, let me know and I can pass it on to you... smiles!

Hi Amy - it's good to 'see' you. Of course it's going to take you a while to get properly 'well' ... just be kind to yourself and pace things. You'll get there in the end. x

Hey...don't be overdoing it! You do not want a relapse of this crud. Ok, my protective duty is done. But you sound like me, we are talking about a scrapbook event. I would be there with an IV in my arm. LOL kidding maybe not, I haven't been in that spot before, it could happen. Hey those are cute cards and your Deck of Me card are really good too. I do want you to know that I have now finished 16 swap ones for this person who sucked me into a swap. I am just debating if I want to add one more thing to them or not, then they will be off to this person house who sucked me into this swap. hee hee

Oh, I love the full glass. It's so uplifting, especially because it's a martini...it feels like a party to me

Hugs,
