I think life caught up with me...

I can't believe I haven't posted since Wednesday...If you came by for a Friday project..I'm so sorry...things have been well nuts around here lately so I haven't been able to take the time to blog, or even go around reading everyone else's...I plan to get all caught up on everyone's lives tonight though...
so what have I been up to...
Thursday I had to work and didn't get home until about 6pm, after dinner, homework, kid stuff...I was spent
Friday, because I am so good at procrastinating, I made everything I had time to for the craft fair on Sat/Sun (I sent my stuff with a friend) Here's the paperbag books I made...I also made bookmarks and the kids made magnets both former Friday projects....

I have no idea as of right now how I did, I haven't been able to talk to Dawn yet...but I'm a little worried because we had the first nice weekend in I don't know how long so I can't imagine that many people wanted to spend their day inside at a craft fair..

Saturday I worked all day, again I didn't get home until about 6pm, I came home and took a shower, and had every intention of blogging, I laid down on my bed to read my new CK magazine and that was all she wrote...I woke up about 7:30 this am...I can't remember the last time I slept that long...but I guess I needed it because today I felt terrific!

In the middle of all of this Rob's Commander asked me if I would make the centerpieces for the Squadron's Dining In on Friday night...this is a military banquet steeped in tradition...anyway today I spent shopping and putting these together...I had to make 4...I really like how they turned out..what do you think?

I wish it was still light when I took the pictures, because they look a lot cuter in person....
I haven't really gotten anything else done, but I have about a million projects I want to get done...
Thanks so much to several of you who have suggested that Britain could maybe model...I am actually looking into this...I never really thought that much about it until now but I am checking out some local talent agencies (I didn't even know that there were any I'm going to take both the boys one of them happens to have an open call on their first day of Spring Break ..so who knows we'll see what happens ...if anyone out there has any experience with this or suggestions any would be appreciated...Thanks!
That's about it for tonight! I need to go see what everyone else has been up to...
Gratitude:
1. 12 hours of sleep....
2. shopping with Rob today for centerpiece stuff...he was actually quite helpful
3. getting the centerpieces done
4. the boys have been getting along lately
5. we are all off tomorrow for Pulaski Day...this is an Illinois holiday...
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Great paper bag projects. I actually started one of these a while ago and this is a reminder for me to pull it out and finish it.

It's wonderful to see yours to spark me to get mine off the back burner.

Great job on those centerpieces*!*

I'm a mini book-a-holic now so you HAVE to post on your blog how to make them...pretty please:)

Ooh, ooh! I haven't been to a dining in since the last time I was in Warsaw. I wonder if they still do them here...

Those are some gorgeous centerpieces! LOVE THEM!

I've never heard of Pulaski day, but that sure sounds like a Polish name:).

glad you are well, I was beginning to wonder.

Fabulous looking centre pieces, I'm sure they're just perfect for the banquet.

My dad was a military man, and I remember my mum doing stuff like that when I was younger.

Those centerpieces look great! He really asked the right person to do it! Hey, you're right, your son could be a model. He has such a different kind of look about him and he seems so calm and kind of "cool" looking:)
