Giant Steps are what you take...

walking on the moon...

if I how to put music on here, then you'd be hearing The Police right now, but as it is you'll have to imagine it in your head...if Carolyn or Dianna want to help me out in this department please feel free....so

who wants to walk with me?

I should have said "walk around the world" so I apologize to my international friends for my narrowmindedness...
My plan is to start on Monday, I'm hoping that by then it won't be quite as soggy as it has been here the past few days because I do not have a treadmill . I know some of you have already started..Good for you! Kylie's walking "virtually" to Lisbon and will then get rewarded with an actual trip to Lisbon!! This is totally no stress, I just want us to be able to motivate each other to move, I definitely need the extra help, I'd much rather read or play with paper than go for a walk...so I hope you'll check back here and comment when you walk how far you went and by the weekend I'm going to add a walklist over to the right of your links (if you wish to be included please leave me a comment with your link) and it's as easy as that. So fire up those MP3 players and get your walking shoes ready! Set a goal which includes some incentive at the end...Mine is 20 lbs by the end of May and I get Scrapbook Money to spend! So I haven't set a mile goal yet, at first I think I just want to see if I can actually get out the door. Feel free to share pictures of your walking adventures as well, and let anyone know who might want to join to come on by and join us...!!! LET's GO!!

I also have a Ricetta (Italian word for recipe, because everyone says "sketch" and I wanted a cute name, so it's basically a sketch) for you. If you want to play, create a layout inspired by this Ricetta and link me in the comments. Next Wednesday, I will display everyone's pages with a new Ricetta!

so here is Ricetta #1 designed by me...and I don't know how to do it up in a program the way I've seen on a lot of other blogs if someone wants to tell me how that works I'd love to be schooled...Thanks!

and here is my take on it

I hope this inspires you to play!!
I used Bazzill Bling Cardstock
Lace Cardstock by KI Memories
buttons from Rhonna Farrer
Letter stickers by Heidi Grace
I'm trying to be better about doing a supply list

I also completed this layout for the FiskarsCrafts sketch for February

Bazzill Cardstock, CTMH
Pattern Paper Making Memories, CTMH
Chipboard letters are WE R Memory Keepers
I think Thursday is going to be Meme day, and on Friday there will be a project challenge up...at least that's my story and I'm stickin to it...
Today I am grateful for
1. being off work
2. Kids had early release
3. got some scrapping done
4. got some laundry done
5.after tomorrow I have a 4 day weekend! I hope to spend some time at the Fiskars online crop so whoever is going hope to see you there!

Amy adding music is pretty easy... go back to my blog, and right click on my music (create a play list) then when you get to the site, sign up for an account. then start searching for music, once you get a pretty good list going, click to get the link and post on your blog. I know this wasn't the best directions, but I'm sure when you get to the site you will see what I am talking about. Once you get going it's pretty easy.

Very pretty layouts/pages!! Good luck on the whole walking thing. I am not a walker/runner/jogger - NOPE. I walk where I have to go - then I sit down. Take care - Kellan

Hey, I want to do that walking thing. I love to walk, but REALLY haven't had the time lately. I hope to soon (like just a few days). Now what do I have to do?

I still hate you and I'll still do it.

I love that LO from your sketch. I didn't walk yesterday, but because today looks so pretty, I'm probably headed out on that long walk today!

Ricetta, liking that word. May give that a go. Mike and I were talking tonight and we both said next Monday too. So count me in your walk. Had a giggle at your comment about being narrow minded! My fav saying is "it's all about me" ;-)sounds like I have competition lol.

fun sketch Amy. What graphics packages do you have? Basically you want to be using custom shapes in a graphics package to create a digital version of a sketch. Otherwise it's just as quick to do it by hand and scan it in. Happy to help you learn the digital way though.

YEAH AMY!!!!!!!!! I'm so proud of you for working on your exercising! I'm working on mine since I turned 29 for the 14th time recently! He he he - please don't do the math....it's painful reality! LOL! Anyway, I keep a track of the miles I run on my blog too but I'd be happy to have you add them to yours! It'll encourage me to go to the clubhouse on the days I use the temperature as my excuse to NOT go running! I have a race again on March 9th so the incentive/challenge will be good for me! I love your Blog BTW and will go home tonight to try your ricetta out! That word makes me hungry BTW..... Good thing I have my bag of organic apple slices from Costco sitting here! LOL!
