Counting down the minutes...

Until the halfway live chat for the LOAD challenge at BPS...I can't wait!

here are my day 14 and 15 layouts...
Day 14

day 15

I can't believe that we're halfway there!

You could be looking at the next Shai Lebeauf, or or Drake Bell.......Britain tried out for the drama club last Friday...(as if we don't have enough of that around here already) just kidding...anyway we are supposed to find out if he made it tomorrow or Thurs...I'm keeping my fingers crossed because I totally don't want him to be disappointed if he doesn't make it, but a LOT of kids tried out and he's only in 6th ..... growing pains... wish us luck....

I weighed in today, well I don't go to the meetings, so I weighed myself, I make a friend watch me though so I'm not tempted to lie to myself...and I lost 2 more pounds...! I'm at 131...so I'm celebrating with KFC...nope not kidding...but I'm going to drink water with it...do you ever just crave grease....?

I am just TICKLED TO DEATH right now about something I discovered with my local library...I know I'm a little slow, so if you've known about this for years please feel free to make fun of me but I just found out that our library is in a network with a bunch of other libraries in the area...and they share books...ok not so new BUT ...they have a website and you can go ORDER your books and then they call you when they're ready to be picked up...is this not just the coolest thing!! No more trying to remember what the schnitzel is going on with Dewey and his decimal system...you just search out the book you want and click a button...bliss

I'm trying to be more organized around here...especially in my kitchen...especially in the cooking department of my kitchen...I'm an ok cook...and I have picky eaters...but I really like this idea ...this Monday menu plan where you plan out what you're going to cook all week trouble is I have about 4 or 5 meals I make well that everyone likes...anyone have any suggestions for easy kid friendly meals? I think this would probably help me grocery shop a lot smarter too...I try to eat healthy but I get so sick of chicken....

Here's some fun links to click while you're having your morning coffee...

Organization Junkie lots of great ideas..

On the Upside Kellan is hilarious...

A Year of Crockpotting yes she's really doing it..

My gratitude today...

1. 2 more pounds gone

2. a pretty calm day at work

3. Chatting live with Lain in about 6 minutes...

4. Rob is picking up dinner (KFC)!

5. New books from the library!

Thanks for stopping by! Take a minute and say hi!

Good luck on the drama club for Britain. And congratulations on the 2 pounds. Actually reading your blog about your diet is keeping me motivated. I keep thinking about how you won't even put cream in your coffee! I can't do that one.

Okay here's a super easy kid friendly recipe and I leave out the jalepenos because my kids don't like spicy (actually only one of my kids doesn't like spicy, but she's the loudest so no one gets spice).

Come to think of it, I have quite a few kid friendly recipes...I'll email you some.

I miss libraries:(. The last time I lived in the States I discovered that request thing and that's all we did. Our library sent us an email when the books were ready.

Oh, and congrats on the weight loss!

Hey honey check out this website www.allrecipes.com. I just look to see what I have in the house and go to the site and look up recipes that contain those ingredients. Also, they have reviews attached so you can see if anyone likes the recipe. Oh, did I see that you and Les are going shopping Friday? I am so jealous! Send her my love. And Rob and the kids.
